Original Story : It was the kind of story that brought out the best in people, and corny as it may seem, reaffirmed the basic goodness of humanity. My first thought was - what a tragedy if this turns out to be a hoax. All that good would have been for nothing. It now seems that in reality, the story was actually based on reality, although slightly different that the actual message that went around. Snopes.com has just reported that an Avi Amenov, aged 12 was injured on August 12 and died four days later. The boy had been in the backseat of a silver BMW that was racing a Lexus in Queens, NY when the BMW clipped the Lexus and that is when it crashed into a parked van and Avi was injured.
