6.Post the ITR-V to the following address: IT Department, CPC, Post Box No-1, Electronic City Post Office, Bengaluru-560100, Karnataka.
7.Make sure that you get an acknowledgement of the return from the IT office after sending the ITR-V. This, and not the ITR-V, proves that your return has been submitted successfully.

His Achievements: He had the honor of being India's first pilot; was Chairman of Tata & Sons for 50 years; launched Air India International as India's first international airline; received Bharat Ratna in 1992.

JRD Tata was one of the most enterprising Indian entrepreneurs. He was a pioneer aviator and built one of the largest industrial houses of India.

JRD Tata was born on July 29, 1904 in Paris. His mother was a French, while his father was Parsi. JRD's full name was Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata and he was popularly known as Jeh to his friends. JRD's father Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata and Sri Jamsetji Tata shared their greatness from the same great-great-grandfather, Ervad Jamsheed Tata, a priest of Navsari.

JRD Tata was the second of four children. JRD Tata He was educated in France, Japan and England before being drafted into the French army for a mandatory one-year period. JRD wanted to extend his service in the forces but destiny had something else in store for him. By leaving the French army JRD's life was saved because shortly thereafter, the regiment in which he served was totally wiped out during an expedition in Morocco.

The festival falls in the Hindu month of Ashada, July ? August in the Gregorian calendar and celebrated in Karnataka.

Schools, colleges or offices often block the social network sites like Facebook, Myspace, Bebo, Hi5, Orkut, etc?
Here’s few ways you can bypass the restrictions and surf like normal, but please check with your local authorities before using them.

1. Using IP Instead of URL

This depends on the software/application used. Sometimes blocked sites are stored as a list of URLs (eg. www.yahoo.com, www.donwload.com,etc) and typing the IP instead of the URL might sometimes work. In a local computer, doing a ping domain.com command in Command Prompt (Mac users use Terminal) will return you the IP address. You can also do it online via www.whatsmyip.org

2. Redirection with Short URL service

Sometimes the URL you intend to browse might be ban, but converting them to another a shorter URL with short URL services might just help you to bypass the settings.

3. Google Cache

Wayback Machine is a internet service that periodically keeps a copy of almost all websites in the Internet way from the date they’re started. Clicking on the latest copy of what Wayback Machine have should be somewhat similar to the real site. Another way to access blocked sites via caches.

5. Anonymous Surfing

Some site allows you to take advantage of their proxy or domain to surf other sites as anonymous. Here are some of proxy websites we are suggesting:

Proxy Surfing – Internet Explorer

Go to Tools -> Internet Options. Select Connections tab. Click into LAN Settings, check Proxy Server. Insert your proxy URL inside Address.

7. Bypass with Translations services

Online translation services like AltaVista BabelFish, Google Translate allows you to translate a website from one language to another and display the translated results on their own page.The trick here is to enter the URL (website you’re blocked), retranslate it even if you don’t need to and let Google or AltaVista fetch you the content.

8. Subscribe to RSS Feed

This might not work for all sites, but if the site you intended to visit provides RSS feeds, you can subscribe and read it with a RSS reader, or have it regularly send the contents to your email

9. Retrieve web pages via Email

Web2Mail is a free service that sends websites you want to read right into your inbox. All you need to do is send an email to www@web2mail.com with the URL as subject title.

Union Finance Minister Pranab Minister on Monday presented the General Budget 2009-10 in the Parliament.

The highlights of the General Budget 2009-10 are as follows:

1. Growth rate in 2008-09 dipped to 6.7 per cent from average nine per cent growth in previous three fiscal years.

3. Fiscal deficit grew from 2.7 per cent to 6.8 per cent of GDP

4. Total fiscal stimulus during 2008-09 amounts to Rs 1,86,000 crore.

5. in goods and services doubled to 47 per cent in 2008-09

6. Indian Infrastructure Finance Company Limited will re-finance commercial bank loans upto 60 per cent in critical projects through public private partnership to the tune of Rs 1,00,000 crore to raise investment in the sector.

7. More funds allocated to help Mumbai fight floods during rains.

8. Allocations for highways being stepped up by 23 per cent.

9. Allocation for urban poor for provision for housing and basic amenities to be raised to Rs 3,973 crore in the current year.

10. Allocation for Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission increased by 87 per cent to Rs 12,887 crore.

11. Central assistance for storm-water drainage project increased to Rs 500 crore from Rs 200 crore in the interim budget

12. Print media stimulus package extended by six months

13.Target for agriculture credit raised to Rs 3,25,000 cr in 2009-10

14.An expert panel will look into petroleum product pricing

15.Domestic oil prices must be in sync with global prices

16.Fertiliser subsidy to go directly to farmers

17.Export Credit Guarantee scheme extended till March 2010

The Economic Survey for 2008-09 tabled Thursday has called for banking and financial market reforms, including increasing foreign investment in banks in a phased manner and lifting of ban on commodity futures.

It also called for expediting passage of the Banking Regulations (Amendment) Bill and allowing high net worth individuals to invest directly in capital markets rather than go through the controversial participatory notes route.

The passage of the Banking Regulations (Amendment) Bill will allow greater flexibility to banks in terms of managing liquidity requirements, liberalise investment regulations and allow the Reserve Bank of India greater powers such as right to supersede a bank's board of directors if it was in public interest.

The survey, in one of its recommendations, advocated allowing high net worth individuals to invest directly in capital markets through authorised Indian investment intermediaries.
